Resuming Physical Gatherings

Joining us in person this week at Centerpoint Church? Here’s everything you need to know!

Sunday Services

As we begin to resume physical gatherings, we are working to create an environment that allows for adequate social distancing in adherence with the guidelines and recommendations of the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC. Help us stay proactive on following these guidelines by registering in advance for the service you will be attending. We will be limiting the number of people in attendance to 50% of the occupancy of the building.

TIMES

We will resume our regular service schedule by offering in-person services at 9AM + 11 AM. To ensure proper time to reset all environments and disinfect high-touch areas, we will host a service that lasts approximately one hour.

FAMILIES

CP Kids will be offered at both services for children in Kindergarten through grade 5 following current guidelines. Due to the specific nature of these guidelines we are unable to offer nursery or preschool classes at this time and encourage families with young children to continue engaging through Church At Home.

SEATING

Our teams will be seating guests and families in adherence to distancing measures. Our doors will open 20 minutes before each service. Upon conclusion of the service, we will dismiss all guests by row, back to front.

LOBBY

In adherence to the guidelines and recommendations of the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC, we will not be able to linger and congregate in the lobby for long periods before or after service. We have removed all seating areas in the lobby and ask that you congregate outside to adhere to best practices.

Health & Safety

SANITIZATION

We will be sanitizing every high-touch area of the building before, during and after each physical gathering. During services, high-touch areas will be regularly wiped with disinfectant. We will also be minimizing physical contact through measures such as not passing offering buckets and providing a virtual Connect Card option instead of paper. After each service, our Facilities Team will sanitize all high-touch surfaces and seating in our auditorium.

We have also ensured hand sanitizer stations are available at every entry/exit point of both the auditorium and CP Kids as well as providing increased sanitizer dispensers for all volunteers.

FACE MASKS

We will require ALL volunteers to wear face masks while they serve with the exception of those on the stage. Although we will not require a face mask for everyone who attends, we strongly encourage you to wear one when you are in the building to help love and protect your neighbor.

SYMPTOMS

We will require all volunteers to be symptom free before they enter the building. If any symptoms unexpectedly develop during a service, that volunteer will be sent home immediately.

CP Kids

K-5th GRADE

Centerpoint Kids will be offered at both services for children in Kindergarten through grade 5 following all current safety guidelines and volunteer to child ratios. Register in advance to save a seat for CP Kids and the service.

NURSERY & PRESCHOOL

Due to the specific nature of these guidelines, we are unable to offer nursery or preschool classes at this time and encourage families with young children to continue engaging through Church At Home.

SANITIZATION

Specific to CP Kids, every child that checks-in will be required to sanitize their hands before entering the main class area. They will also be required to sanitize their hands upon leaving the main class area before being returned to their family. We will be sanitizing every high-touch area of CP Kids before, during and after each physical gathering. During services, high-touch areas will be regularly wiped with disinfectant. After each service, all high-touch surfaces and seating will be disinfected.

FACE MASKS

Like all of our volunteers, CP Kids volunteers will wear a face mask at all times when serving your children. Although not a requirement for children to wear a face mask, it is encouraged if they are able.

HEALTH & SAFETY

We care about the health of your children! We cannot accept children who exhibit any of the following within the 24-hour period prior to service: fever, headache, cough, runny nose, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pink eye, eye infection, sore throat, uncovered/open sores or injuries, or head lice.

If a child has any of these symptoms, they will not be able to check-in to class. Our CP Kids volunteers follow the same guidelines and must be symptom free prior to serving.

RSVP

We are working to create an environment that allows for adequate social distancing in adherence with the guidelines and recommendations of the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC. Help us stay proactive on following these guidelines by registering in advance for the service you will be attending.

Church At Home

Church At Home will continue to be available every Sunday at 11AM.

People who are at higher risk for severe illness, older adults and people who are immunocompromised should consult a physician before returning to in-person gatherings. People who are in contact with these populations should also take extra precautions. In addition, we are asking that if you are showing any signs or symptoms of illness, that you choose Church at Home and refrain from attending in-person.

We Give Generously

Your generosity has never stretched further or made a bigger impact in our community. You may financially partner with us so we can serve and reach even more people.
